Catty day

I loved this catty image from hugware.

Living in rural France it's difficult to source things. Thank God for downloads I just don't know what I'd do without my Cd collection and Pink Petticoat!

Friends.............

............it never ceases to amaze me how generous crafters are, total strangers united with a passion for crafting.

Last year I joined a forum and made contact with a whole new world. There were people I couldn't see but who never made me feel stupid when I asked a dumb question. Who carefully explained how to upload photos, who were eager to share where they'd bought things, how much they'd paid. They were quite happy to give away their secrets on techniques, and websites worth visiting. Most importantly they offered encouragement and friendship.

This year 2 friends I'd made on this forum Linda and Pauline, who'd never met each other let alone me, jumped on a plane and flew out to visit me for a week.

They came armed with goodies a cropodile, sukura pens , sheets of stamped images, cds and cards they'd made.

Today Linda has sent me a huge parcel of goodies. It cost her over £7 to post it!

I am blown away by her generosity and kindness. Thankyou Linda from the bottom of my heart, I am truely grateful to have made a friend like you.

My 1st Christmas card !!

Hi and welcome to my blog, I am soooooooooo behind this year. We've been really busy on the farm preparing for winter and then I went and ordered some Magnolia Stamps. Big mistake, I can't stop playing with Tilda. Luckily I also ordered Edwin with his little sledge, so today i'm sharing my 1st Christmas card this year!

Papers are by Pink Petticoat, distressed with Moon Shadow inks.

Please bare with me as I get my computor illiterate head around this Blog site things will probably be changing over the next few weeks, but you have to start somewhere!
